Sometimes so much goes into planning a large, elaborate wedding, we can lose sight of what really makes the perfect day, the PERFECT day. Each other.
Stephany and Curt knew from the start that what mattered most to them was that they stood side-by-side, in the presence of their closest friends and family, and made a lifelong commitment to each other.
With the beautiful Pacific Northwest as their backdrop, their day could not have been more lovely. The rain let up just before we gathered, and the cool November air was refreshing. We were surrounded on that day by the peaceful sound of nearby waterfalls which seemed to be flowing even more beautifully than usual, probably thanks to the recent heavy rainfall.
At their engagement session, I remember being struck by how evident their love for each other was. A few months later on their wedding day, the magnitude of that clear emotion was multiplied exponentially. Curt couldn't take his eyes off of his gorgeous bride. He didn't hesitate to pick twigs out of her dress or kneel down to help her exchange her hiking shoes for heels. Pure. Love.
They ended the evening at the local courthouse, making their vows as husband and wife official. It could not have been more beautiful or emotion-filled. Hand in hand and with teary eyes, the two said "I do." What a perfect way to end a beautiful day and begin an even more beautiful journey together.
Stephany and Curt, getting to know you and capture your love story has been such a treat!
